Healthy Neighborhood Store Initiative

Bringing locally grown produce to Buddy & Danny’s Neighborhood Store

The Sustainable Living Project is piloting a seasonal farm-to-store program designed to bring fresh, nutritious produce directly from our urban farm to the heart of the Sulphur Springs community. In partnership with Buddy & Danny’s Neighborhood Store and Homegrown Hillsborough, we are increasing access to healthy, affordable, and culturally relevant food grown just a few miles away.

This initiative is more than just a produce drop-off. It's a way to build health, connection, and food confidence in our neighborhood.

How to Participate

  • Pick up a bundle of fresh produce at Buddy & Danny’s

  • Try the seasonal recipe included with your food

  • Want to learn more, volunteer, or suggest a veggie? Let us know!
